If you haven't seen this, then where have you been? Google has done an amazing job of bringing together aerials and maps to the masses. Not only is it terribly useful, it is a lot of fun to use.

This is an amazing website. Sure, it's for residential real estate, but you own a home - don't you? Just type in your address and get its value, and your neighbor’s home's value, and the guy across the street, and your sister's place in Montana, and the house you grew up in, and...

This is another one that I think that everyone would be using. Using your computer call someone's land line for incredibly cheap rates. A few months ago I was checking my voice mail from Nicaragua for point eight cents a minute (there's a decimal there - that's 'point eight' cents a minute). A couple weeks ago it was another .8 cents to call from Cartagena, Columbia to Dallas. Italy to California? Another .8. And, if you're calling someone else who has Skype - well, that's free.
