1. Linksys Wires DSL/Cable Modem Router. This is a really great product. We are currently using this product. You can share your high speed cable modem or DSL connection with or without the use of cables! This is the perfect addition for a home or small office network. It will eliminate all those messy wires as well as act as a hardware firewall to protect the computers on your network from outside hackers. If you think this something you would like, click here for pricing. You may also need a wireless network card for your notebook or a wireless network card for your desktop PC

2. Tiny Personal Firewall. We are all aware of the problems caused by computer viruses and these problems are normally taken care of by products such as Norton or McAffee anti-virus software. But what about the deliberate attempts by hackers on the other side of the world trying to gain access to your computer? This is where firewall software comes into play. Tiny Personal Firewall is an excellent choice and best of all it is free for personal use! It will warn you of all traffic - incoming or outgoing, and you decide what to let through. For routine traffic, it allows you to automatically establish rules so don't have to screen the routine traffic. If you need to disable your firewall it is as easy as 2 clicks. Recommended!
