This document will provide you with the steps needed to uninstall RealHound completely from your computer and then install it again. This is for the purpose of refreshing your program completely as needed.
Step 1 Navigate your PC to your Realhound folder on your hard drive, most likely either C:\realhndip\ or C:\rhserver\realhnd\
Step 2 In the Realhound folder look for the file Uninst_Realhound Live.exe and double click on this. This uninstall file will remove only the original setup files that came with the program. This executable leaves your database files intact and all your photos, documents and templates you may have created in the program over time. When this runs you will see these three folders remain in your Realhound folder; Documents, Properties and TemplatesAlso any additional folders you may have created other than the original installation folders will remain. The Uninstall executable does not remove any of your database files in the Realhound folder either. So you will still see any of your “yourdatabasename.mdb”.
Step 3 Click Yes on the pop up message about uninstalling Realhound.
Step 4 Once the uninstall is complete, download and Save the current complete setup file from here; http://www.realhoundfiles.com/product/realhound/setupip.exe Once the download is complete, then run the setup file by double clicking on it.
Step 5 If your Realhound folder on your PC was C:\rhserver\realhnd\ then let the program run and it will go to this location automatically. If you had the installation in the other location of C:\realhndip\ you will need to redirect the install to this location.
Step 6 Once the install is complete open the program again.
